AI receptionist for dental practices

Answer calls while your dental team is with patients.

ScribeSync answers dental office calls, books into your connected schedule, and follows up with patients who need to come back. Your team sets the visit types, questions, and handoffs.

How it works

AI receptionist for dental practices, from start to finish

  1. 01

    Map your appointments

Review hygiene visits, consultations, provider availability, and handoffs.

  2. 02

    Test your connection

Try booking, changing a visit, and capturing intake details together.

  3. 03

    Add incoming and outbound calls

Choose coverage, recalls, and reminders around your office’s needs.

A cleaning and a consultation need different bookings.

Use the appointment lengths, providers, and availability your office sets. Book new patients, hygiene visits, and consultations through your supported connection. Questions about pain or whether treatment can wait follow your clinical handoff instructions.

Get the insurance card while the patient is on the call.

Collect the details your front desk needs and text a link for a photo ID, insurance card, or intake documents. Run a real-time eligibility check when your office requires one before booking. Available benefit details vary by payer and plan.

Help an overdue patient choose a time to come in.

Call the patients your team selects for hygiene recalls or follow-up visits. If they are ready, offer available appointments and book during the conversation. Your team decides who to contact and how often.

Make a balance reminder easier to act on.

During a payment reminder, offer to text a link to your connected payment system. Questions about an estimate, insurance payment, or disputed balance go to your billing team. Record the outcome so staff know what still needs attention.

Before ScribeSync fees and practice expenses. Time value is not automatically cash savings.

Only count visits you would otherwise lose. Allow for your existing callbacks and appointments that do not take place. All starting numbers are editable examples, not industry benchmarks or measured results.

How we calculate this

Daily calls × workdays = monthly calls. Monthly calls × missed-call rate = missed calls. Missed calls × completed-visit rate = additional completed visits. Collections = completed visits × collected value. Add staff hours saved × hourly staff cost and other costs avoided for the monthly total. Multiply by 12 for the annual estimate.

Annual values assume the same activity for 12 months. Time value is not automatically payroll savings or new revenue. Collections are before practice expenses, product fees, and taxes. They are not profit.

Compare products separately. Adding estimates together can count the same staff time or patient payment twice.

Common questions

Does it book in our dental software?

Direct booking needs a supported scheduling connection. eDental is connected today. We’ll review your software and the booking steps available before you start.

Can we keep our phone number and current phone service?

Yes. Forward calls from your existing service, or discuss porting your number. Forwarding can cover busy periods, after hours, or all calls.

Can it call overdue hygiene patients?

Yes. Your team chooses the patients, contact timing, and recall instructions. ScribeSync can offer appointments and book through the connected schedule.

Is this a replacement for our practice management software?

You keep your practice software. ScribeSync adds call handling and connected workflows. Dental notes and voice perio charting are available separately or in the dental bundle.
