Help patients after the office closes.
Patients can book appointments, submit refill requests, and complete intake or payment steps through the connections set up for your office.
After-hours & overflow calls
Use ScribeSync when the office is closed, during lunch, or when everyone is already on a call. Patients can book a visit and get help with routine requests, and calls that need your staff follow your handoff instructions.
Find out whether the patient needs an appointment, refill, or another kind of help.
Book a visit or pass a refill request to your team through the agreed connection.
Follow your hospital and on-call instructions when a caller needs a person.
Forward calls or discuss porting your existing line.
Add overflow coverage when staff cannot answer.
Define which calls need a person and how to reach them.
How it works
Choose office hours, overflow conditions, and where calls should be forwarded.
Book visits, gather refill details, and follow the instructions your practice provides.
Send the call outcome and any request that needs staff attention to the agreed destination.
Patients can book appointments, submit refill requests, and complete intake or payment steps through the connections set up for your office.
Your team can keep helping patients at the desk while ScribeSync takes overflow calls. We’ll agree on when those calls should reach it.
Follow the same booking rules you use during the day, including an insurance check if required. The appointment goes directly into your connected schedule.
Hospital messages and other calls that need a provider follow your contacts, urgency rules, and escalation steps. We’ll also set up what happens when the first person cannot be reached.
Estimate the value
Use your own numbers below. The estimate updates as you type.
With these numbers
—collections, time value, and costs avoided
Before ScribeSync fees and practice expenses. Time value is not automatically cash savings.
Only count visits you would otherwise lose. Allow for your existing callbacks and appointments that do not take place. All starting numbers are editable examples, not industry benchmarks or measured results.
Daily calls × workdays = monthly calls. Monthly calls × missed-call rate = missed calls. Missed calls × completed-visit rate = additional completed visits. Collections = completed visits × collected value. Add staff hours saved × hourly staff cost and other costs avoided for the monthly total. Multiply by 12 for the annual estimate.
Annual values assume the same activity for 12 months. Time value is not automatically payroll savings or new revenue. Collections are before practice expenses, product fees, and taxes. They are not profit.
Compare products separately. Adding estimates together can count the same staff time or patient payment twice.
eMedicalPractice and eDental are connected today. For notes, you can also copy and paste into any EHR. Direct booking, inbox routing, and chart transfer need a supported connection. Setup and vendor fees may apply.
